Graduate Students: Learn About the Paid Legislative Fellow Program at the Maryland General Assembly (Annapolis, MD)
Virtual Information Session begins at 12 pm on October 9th, 2024.
The Legislative Fellows Program offers top graduate students in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia region an immersive experience in the legislative process working alongside nonpartisan staff within the Department of Legislative Services (DLS), the professional staff agency for the Maryland General Assembly (MGA). Fellows will work during the General Assembly’s annual 90-day legislative session (January – April) and assist legal, fiscal, and committee staff with their regular session duties. Fellows receive a stipend between $5,118 and $8,400. The priority deadline for 2025 Fellows is October 18, 2024.
