Good afternoon folks,
I hope you are hanging in there as best you can! Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion & Belonging (i3b) is rolling out a set of new initiatives this semester that are focused on broadening our reach beyond undergraduate students. Given your populations, I am hoping you can help us share these initiatives across campus.
The first new initiative is our Workshop Wednesday w/ i3b series, which is targeted at faculty, staff, graduate students and adult learners. These are opportunities to engage around social justice topics that can support personal growth and professional development. All sessions are interactive, and designed for skill-building and practice. Our first session is happening next week and will focus on Understanding and Overcoming Imposter Syndrome. You can access the event HERE.
The second new initiative is our OCA Mocha Mondays w/ i3b series. Which is a collaborative effort with OCA Mocha cafe to bring together the campus and surrounding communities in dialogue around social justice topics. While we are currently starting virtually, these sessions will take place at OCA Mocha once it is safe to do so. You can access the event HERE.
Thank you so much for helping share this information! You can also access a full. overview of our area and our work for this semester HERE.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
